Another Week Down

So, at weigh in on Thursday night, I was down another 2.2 lbs! WOOO HOOO! I was a little disappointed that it was only that much, because I had done another week of the Kick Start, but a loss is a loss and I will take it!

I just calculated my new BMI and I'm very close to getting out of the obese range and entering the overweight range! Very cool!

On another note, my clothes are starting to fit me better. My jeans which I had to wrestle A LOT to get into are now feeling not as tight, which is nice and so that there is an incentive to keep going. I went to Steve and Barry's the other day while in Staunton and they are on close-out so everything must go. I found a pair of pants that are still in my current size, but I had tried on previously and they looked so incredibly bad on me, puckers here and there, tight, but I picked them up without trying them on with the thinking, it's only 3 bucks if they don't fit right and at that rate I can throw them in a yard sale and recoop the loss. But, they FIT! Not for long I hope, but they fit and look very nice. I'm excited to wear them this week!

Since I've gone up to my regular points, no more kick start for me, I find that I can have more satisfying meals and I'm not snacking as much. This of course will be put to the test tomorrow when I return to work, but the past 2 days, I have had better meals.

My goal for this week was to get all of my waters in. Friday and yesterday it was a struggle to squeeze them in, but I did and paid for it dearly in the night time/early morning. Today, I'm right on track and should finish up within the next half hour. I decided that I would take the weight watchers requirements (6 8 oz glasses of water a day, 5 fruits/veggies, 2 milks, and 2 tbsp oil) a week at a time and build up to it. It was just far too hard to try all at once. I tend to focus on one and forget the others, so maybe by adding onto them each week I will one day be able to get all of them in appropriately. Of course that means I will try hard in the mean time as well.

I also have to throw caution out there to my one follower! Be careful of name brand labels! I love weight watchers and it's really working for me, however there are some store brand things that are just as good as what weight watchers is for a fraction of the price. Case in point, today I was going to get English Muffins, I saw the price on the weight watchers muffins and about passed out in the bread aisle, but then I saw Thomas brand, same calories, just .5 more grams of fat and same fiber for 1/2 the price...needless to say, I can live with the extra .5 grams of fat for the price!

Anywho...more later!
