Brrr

So, the cold weather has hit VA and I'm not very happy with it! I walked Duke yesterday morning at 6:30 a.m. and BRRR, it was cold! I was in my heavy winter coat, a knit hat with ear flaps and fleece gloves! I love the little guy and I love swapping activity points for food, but what am I going to do when real winter hits? I guess I'll have to look into some of the Walk Away the Pounds Videos. I have one of the shorter ones and find it enjoyable and I'm pretty sure I have the 3 and 4 mile videos somewhere around here, or maybe it's 4 and 5 miles, I don't know, but whatever it is, I will be finding it!

I'm still managing on the 20 point Kick Start program. It will be nice to have some cushion starting Friday when I start the regular point system. I'll be able to eat some denser foods where there are more points. I don't know what it was today, but I couldn't stop munching all afternoon! I don't think my soup quite hit the spot at lunch!

I picked up some SmartOnes breakfast deals, so I'm going to give those a whirl tomorrow. I have had the egg, canadian bacon, and cheese english muffins before and they were good! I got their new breakfast pocket and it looks pretty yummy. I was most surprised how good some of the dinners are! I've been eating the Creamy Rigatoni with Chicken and Broccoli and Pasta Primavera for lunch and YUMMERS! Very tasty! I love them!

I'm also quite happy, my hubby has praised me for doing this and sticking with it (for all of 2 weeks!) and has offered to help me in anyway that he can. Just makes me happy to know that he recognizes my efforts and is supportive. I knew he would be, but it's just nice to hear!
