WOW

So, I've only been on this new plan for a couple of days now, but I feel great! At first I was kind of moping around because I thought it would be absolutely horrible and I would be starving, but in actuality, that's far from true! I am surprised by the amount of food that I can have and thank goodness for activity points!

But, I would also like to say that my energy level is improving, maybe it's just the fact that I've enthusiastic about this journey, I don't know, but Duke and I walked 2.4 miles in 37 minutes today, which might not sound all that impressive to some, but I thought it was pretty darn good for the two of us. He was definitely dragging his tongue by the time we were through!

By the way, I love the Hungry Girl website (www.hungrygirl.com) It has some awesome recipes that are totally do-able and look delicious! I'm waiting to try Choco Monkey Oatmeal! I need to get some diet hot cocoa mix and I'm so there! :)

I also found that I really like the Weight Watchers Chocolate Chip Cookies, very yummy! Very impressed with the flavor. I also got Whitman's Weight Watchers Chocolates today while at the store in English Toffee flavor, I'm hoping it will taste like a heath bar! But, both of those items were 1 point! I have 2 points left, so I'm thinking I might go grab a yogurt to top off the day, we'll see.

I have found that squeezing in water on the weekends is difficult, you would think it would be the other way around, that while at work it's difficult to drink water! I guess when you're at work, you're bored and so you drink. On the weekends, I'm sleeping late, I'm busy doing things around the house, etc. So, I need to make that my goal of drinking more water.
