Down .8 lbs and PROUD

Tonight, I got on the scale and I was down .8 lbs!  Very excited!  I know I had originally wanted to be at my 10% goal by Christmas, but I've made a lot of progress and very proud of how far I've come.  I'm down 17 pounds since the second week in October!  That is the most weight loss that I've ever done!

So tonight, the leader asked if anyof were traveling out of town and I raised my hand and she asked what my plans were.  I told her that I bought some pretzels and some of the cheese snacks and was going to pack those in my bag as "healthy" snacks to eat while out and about.  I also had my mom buying me some yogurt to have at her house.  I got a Bravo sticker for my bookmark, so now the pressure is on to do well while out of town!

I'm really hoping to earn some activity points while in Ohio.  My mom has a treadmill so I can walk on that, but I'm also going to take up some dvd's in case I get bored.  Let me tell you, I'm feeling the past 2 days DVD's in my legs!  They are sore!  But sore is good!  I'm also going to weigh in on Wednesday morning at 9 so that gives me more time to visit with my family and friends and not have to worry about getting to a meeting on time.  So we shall see!

I also find it amusing, lots of people in my life who are not familiar with Weight Watchers ask what can I eat on my diet?  First of all, Weight Watchers is not a diet.  It's a lifestyle and habit forming program.  Secondly, I can eat whatever I want.  There are no food restrictions.  As long as I'm accountable for what I am putting in my body, I can eat whatever I want.  My group leader constantly tells us that we need to educate people on what we're doing, that WW is NOT a diet.  I can honestly say that I've never gone hungry while on WW.  I have had to limit myself, but that's just called portion control!  Something I should have been doing all along, but alas, didn't and now must pay to lose weight.  :)

Here's to a great week, happy holidays, time with family and friends, and weight loss!

OH, and let me tell you, I don't know what it was, the past 2 days as I said, I did workout DVD's and they were good.  Made me work hard, lots of sweat and heavy breathing and it was awesome.  This morning I had a TON of energy!  Ask my office mate.  I was zipping through work and was uber productive, so if that's the results I'll see everytime I do those videos, bring it on!
